The NC State Fair Food Event Starts Tomorrow: Here’s How You Can Still Get Fair Food

We all know that in July 2020, the State Fair was canceled due to COVID-19. But, you might not know that starting tomorrow, you can still get your NC State Fair food fix.

When Can I Stop By?

The NC State Fair food event is from October 15-25 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.

If turkey BBQ eggrolls and cracklings are more your speed, then Hickory Tree Turkey BBQ is here to flip the script on BBQ and have you fall in love with turkey all over again.

Once you’ve realized that turkey BBQ is best accompanied with an old-fashioned turkey leg, McBride Concessions should be your next stop.

Burgers, Dogs and Sandwiches

For your quintessential love of corn dogs, hot dogs and beef dogs, Zell Lucas is the place to check out! Ready for bologna sandwiches or a hamburger? N&T Concessions is serving up both … and you can have fries with that.

On hotter days, there’s absolutely nothing like a sno cone. To beat the heat, head on over to Brinkley Entertainment.

Is it even the Fair if you don’t head home with kettle corn? We don’t think so. Stop by the Raleigh Downtown Lions Club to make your experience authentic.

Douglas Grover will be serving up corn on the cob, corn in a cup, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos corn on the cob, and pumpkin spice corn on the cob.

Cookies, Cakes and Fudge

Favor Desserts‘ menu boasts cookies, cake pops and homemade cake slices … and you can also pick up a glass of milk for dunking. After that glass of milk, swing by NC Fudge & Stuff, which will be offering both fudge and gummies.

Frozen Drinks

By this point, you have to be thirsty! Moose Joose Slush is serving up frozen sweet tea and over six flavors of slush drinks — possibly in their pumpkin cups. If you’re looking for a different kind of drink receptacle, Tropical Delights will offer cored-out pineapples and coconuts filled with frozen fruit smoothies.
