Jessica Corwin has been writing since age 5 and eating long before that. Thankfully the two have found a way to merge into a career able to nourish her family of 5 in both food and finance.
Serving as a public health food and nutrition educator in West Michigan for the past decade has provided Jessica with the experience necessary to write with a humble and realistic perspective. Teaching everywhere from food pantries to upscale kitchens, on topics ranging from prenatal to chronic disease to culinary medicine. Each class offering a new glimmer of knowledge on how to do better. The wisdom and practice gleaned here for inclusion and compassion will stick with her for a lifetime.
A 2016 autoimmune disease diagnosis unleashed her passion for wellness and functional nutrition. Leading her to explore the emerging field of nutrition psychiatry, gut health and elimination diets. All with a desire to make it easier for the next person by translating the science into practical, tangible tips.
The fact that she is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and Certified Health and Wellness Coach, merely adds a splash of credibility to her words.
