Erin Masercola, PhD

Erin serves as the Content Director at North Carolina News Daily.
She has more than 20 years experience launching and growing entrepreneurial media businesses. She and her teams have created myriad print publications and digital media for professionals working in law, regulatory compliance, medical care, banking, and health care reimbursement. On the consumer side, she leads teams who build audiences in niche consumer markets.

After graduating from the University of Texas – Austin in 1989, Erin moved to our state to attend The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She worked for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for research, writing press releases, grant applications, and student curricula designed to get molecular biology instruction and equipment into undergraduate classrooms at North Carolina’s HBCUs. She taught composition, literature, and science and medical writing, first at UNC-CH and briefly at UNC Greensboro. She has raised four boys in the Raleigh area.
