Danielle Watson-Goetz serves as the managing editor at North Carolina News Daily. She currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. Originally from Erie, PA, Danielle works with clients to brand and establish their social media presence. After graduating from Edinboro University in 2015, Danie then graduated from the Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Wilkes University with both her M.A. in Fiction and her M.F.A. in Creative Writing.

She has worked in independent publishing with Kaylie Jones Books and currently serves as their Marketing Director. Danie briefly taught at courses in communications, English and sociology at Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA and as the Employment Instructor at Volunteers of America Pennsylvania. Her writing has been featured in Alternative Press Magazine and Tailor Made Magazine.

Wake County Schools to Begin Year with Online Instruction

In a Tuesday, July 21 news conference, Wake County Superintendent Cathy Moore recommended that the school year begin in an entirely online learning platform. The reopening plan, named Plan B Transition, calls for students in Wake Co. to begin the school year in online instruction but will transition to in-class instruction as the year progresses.
